WebPress is software that resides on the server with your website. It allows people with no specialist IT skills to edit and control their website using standard office application skills. No software installation is required, you just log in using your normal internet browser.

With WebPress you can add, edit or delete pages and content on your site through a password protected Administration section. Your site, and all its pages, are listed in an easy to understand tree structure giving you total control. You no longer have to pay a web developer to make these changes.

Adding forms or other functionality such as e-commerce is fully supported by WebPress and can be added at any time.

WebPress has been designed for anyone to use. The page edit controls are simple, yet powerful, and allow you to change and format your text, as well as add tables, images or flash to your site - all from your own computer.

Using WebPress, you will be able to build and edit your website from your office, hotel room or home using simple to understand tools. Your website will be dynamic and always up-to-date.

Templates
WebPress Templates are pre-made HTML pages that lay out the design of your web page. Templates contain your pages surrounding graphics and tell WebPress where to place navigation bars and content. WebPress templates can be created by SiteFactory or anyone with basic HTML experience. Selecting a new template from the drop down list will automatically update the page display. The new page layout, with all your content, can be preview on WebPress and will be visible on your live website when you next publish the page making changing the look and feel of your website a breeze.

WebPress Components
WebPress uses elements on a page called components to build the pages content. Each component can be edited, deleted or moved as an individual item within the page. You can think of components as paragraphs or groups of items (text/images/tables etc) on your web page. A full preview of the selected page is displayed using the currently selected template, with each component surrounded by a 1 pixel grey border. Each component has grey title bar with the component type and a delete icon.

To edit content on your web page, you add components to the page or edit content in existing components by clicking on them.

Editing Content on your web page
Most components on a web page will be of the content type. Content components can contain images, text, tables, links, multimedia and much more. The button options for adding items and styling of your content are located at the top of the screen.
